久しぶりに弥山を登りました。
今回は弥山7不思議の一つ、干満の岩が本当に水面が動くのかを見届けることにありました。
I climbed Mt. Misen for the first time in a while.
One of the purpose of this day is to find Kanman-Iwa Rock.
体力が有り余っていたので紅葉谷コースと大聖院コースを一度に登りました。
I climbed two times this day. One is Momijidani-course, and second is Daisyouin-course.
7:26 Miyajimaguchi station
10分で宮島に着くとはいえ、船旅はなんだかワクワクします。
Though it takes only 10 minutes to reach Miyajima, the ferry ride feels exciting.
朝食は朝作ったベーコンエッグバゲット。
I made a bacon and egg baguette this morning.
有名な寝観音。
Doesn’t this mountain look like a reclining Kannon-sama?

桜が咲き始めていました。
The cherry blossoms have started blooming.
この静かな雰囲気も好き。
I also like this quiet atmosphere.
そういえば、山道で鹿にちょくちょく出会しました。
By the way, I often came across deer on the mountain path.
9:00 Reikado
1200年燃え続けている神聖な火。
This sacred fire has been burning for over 1200 years.
You can drink this sacred hot water which is believed to be effective for many illnesses.
9:30 Kanman-Iwa Rock
Kanman-Iwa Rock is known as one of the Seven wonders of Mt. Misen.
Though situated over 500m above sea level, the water in this mysterious rock grotto ebbs and flows with the tide. Futhermore the water is saltwater, and the reason for this yet to be descovered.

珍しいみたいです。
This is where ships of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force pass each other. It’s said to be rare.
11:00 Daishoin Trailhead
本日2回目の山登り。大聖院コース入り口です。
This is my second climb today. Here is the entrance to the Daishō-in course.
こちらの道は階段が多いです。
This path has a lot of stairs.
鳥居がちょこっと見えました。
I caught a glimpse of the torii.
12:00 Mt.Misen
本日のお弁当と頑張ったご褒美のお酒を弥山の頂上でいただきました。
I enjoyed my bento and a well-earned sake at the top of Mt. Misen.

14:00 Itsukushima shrine
お昼過ぎは潮が引いていました。
The tide had gone out in the afternoon.
とっても良い時間を過ごすことができました。
I had a wonderful time and felt so refreshed.
